Amanda Fisher is board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelors degree from Carlow University. Her Masters of Science in nursing was completed at Kent State University in 2018 specializing in women’s health. She has six years experience in women’s health caring for patients in labor and delivery unit. She’s an active member with AWHONN.
She has passion in providing care and focusing her education on the primary healthcare needs of women across their lifespan and emphasizing health promotion through various stages of pregnancy, family planning, infertility, conception care, menopause, and postmenopausal health issues. With her experience working in labor and delivery she has come to understand her love and interest in women’s health. Being exposed to the strength and transformation shown by each of her maternity patients has developed an even deeper respect towards her profession. It is her greatest ambition to become a leader amongst her coworkers in all settings.
